ADHD Coach and Accredited ADHD PractitionerKerry Hales – ADHD Coach & Accredited ADHD Practitioner
Kerry Hales is an experienced ADHD Coach and Accredited ADHD Practitioner with more than 25 years’ experience helping people understand themselves, navigate change and create lives and ways of working that genuinely work for them.
With a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Communication, professional coach training and more than 1,000 hours of coaching and facilitation experience, Kerry combines psychology, behaviour change, practical ADHD expertise and a refreshingly down-to-earth approach.
ADHD Coaching for Adults
Kerry particularly enjoys working with adults who have spent years wondering why things that seem straightforward for other people can feel so difficult for them. ADHD can affect many areas of everyday life, including organisation, focus, motivation, time management, overwhelm, confidence and getting started with tasks.
As an ADHD Coach, Kerry's approach isn't about fixing you or forcing you into somebody else's version of organised and productive. Instead, ADHD coaching is about understanding how your brain works, recognising the patterns that may be getting in your way and finding practical strategies that fit you.
Kerry works collaboratively with her clients, helping them develop greater self-understanding and identify realistic changes that can make everyday life and work feel more manageable.
What Can ADHD Coaching Help With?
ADHD coaching can provide practical support for adults who are finding certain aspects of everyday life, work or relationships difficult to manage. Kerry works with clients to understand their individual challenges and develop strategies that are realistic and sustainable.
Depending on your circumstances, coaching may explore areas such as organisation, time management, motivation, focus, procrastination, overwhelm, confidence, communication and managing change.
The aim isn't to make you work in a way that doesn't suit you. Instead, Kerry helps you understand your strengths, identify what is getting in the way and find approaches that work with the way your brain works.
A Practical, Neurodiversity-Informed Approach
Alongside her private coaching work, Kerry supports neurodivergent clients through Access to Work and works as a consultant and facilitator with NHS teams and organisations.
Her experience spans coaching, facilitation, psychology, behaviour change and neurodiversity. This allows Kerry to look beyond individual challenges and explore the wider factors that may be affecting how someone works, communicates, manages their time and approaches everyday life.
Kerry is also an Amazon bestselling author, bringing her experience and practical perspective to a wider audience.
What Can You Expect From Working With Kerry?
Clients value Kerry's warmth, humour and ability to quickly get underneath the noise and explore what is really going on. Her coaching style is honest, curious and practical, with no judgement and no expectation that you should simply try harder.
Sessions can provide space to explore the challenges you are experiencing, understand your individual patterns and develop practical strategies that are realistic for your circumstances.
Whether you're looking for support with ADHD, work, organisation, motivation, confidence or navigating change, Kerry takes the time to understand you as an individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
